Before running your first consolidation, there are three basic steps to complete as part of your one-time setup. 


First you will connect all your companies from QuickBooks Online to define your entity structure so we have a fully connected picture of your subsidiaries and parent company. 


Second, we’ll have you map the chart-of-accounts for each subsidiary to your parent company. 


The final step, if required is to load opening balances for your parent company.
